Are you interested in using your healthcare skills in a developing country and learning more about global health? Work the World specialise in safe, structured healthcare placements in Africa, Asia and South America. We have developed close relationships with private and public hospitals and clinics in our host countries, allowing us the flexibility to accommodate specific placement preferences. There is also the opportunity to live and work in a rural community to fully understand the challenges of healthcare in the developing world. Accommodation, meals and language lessons are included and our friendly, helpful staff provide 24/7 support throughout your stay.

Our progressive and dynamic team is made up of staff from around the world: our management and program team here in Australia and the USA – and our on-site directors (the students’ in-country support network). We truly can support our participants (students) during their entire overseas experience. CIS was established in 1999 and has 70+ staff globally, including CISaustralia. In addition we have 30+ on-site directors / coordinators and a multitude of partner and host representatives. Sending approximately 3,500+ students abroad each year, CIS offers diverse and comprehensive programs delivered by experienced and highly trained staff.
